In the montains southeast from Real de Catorce, there is a small community by the name of San Antonio de Coronados, in which live about 100 people, and it is here, where our trek begins towards the sacred waterspring which nurtures San Antonio. We already mentioned that the center of the universe is in the quemado's mountain, in Real de Catorce, when walking through these paths, we can observe the way the spiral of life opens up, filling the desert with all the abundance we see in this trek up the mountain through almost 6 km, where we go across a small stream in several points, we walk up some slopes which show us a gradual change soil and vegetation, providing a sample of the great biodiversity of this region. On our way back, we'll enjoy a delicious and typical desert meal, straight from the hands and heart of our friends from San Antonio.
