The ancient trail to Real de Catorce, or the "viejo camino a Real" was the only way to get to the town for a little over 200 years. Built from cobblestone over a steady slope of over 12 km (19.2 mi) from Estación Catorce (Place where the passenger train would arrive) Today, only safe to go through it via Willy, a 4X4 vehicle which takes us in a real journey back in time as we go across the devil's passage and stroll down the slope of the mountain called "la cuesta de los arrepentidos" or the repentant's slope, to get to the "Socavón de la Purísima", one of the most prolific mines of the region, and currently the most popular.
